About this deal

The rum itself is made using sugar cane grown on the island of Negros in the Philippines and matured in oak barrels for 7 years, after which it is blended and bottled. Traditional Filipino rum makers do not refill these casks, producing this dark, intense and concentrated rum. We opened the rum for a joint tasting in the family circle, since then we drink it more often in the evening or in the late afternoon, but I can also highly recommend it on occasions.

Bumped into this accidently, very refreshing ( by that I mean ‘different’ ) take on rum - yes it is sweet, but added to a small range of rum options at home makes for a regular opportunity to indulge in a swerve away from standard.
