It's a masterpiece that has thankfully stood the test of time, and still manages to terrify audiences new and old almost 40 years after it first rose from the depths onto our screens. This is a good chance to compare the restoration of the Blu-ray with the originally presented footage. But let's be honest, between the four hours of documentaries and other goodies, there's a lot to love about the bonus features. This is how I want classic movies to look on Blu-ray, clean, stable and crystal clear transfers that respect the original intent of the film and with the same ethos applied to upgrading the audio.Of course the film, based on the Peter Benchley novel of the same name, overcomes much of the plot's B-level sentimentality by populating it with a great assortment of characters portrayed by an excellent cast of actors. Forget Jaws, I avoided any movie with sharks in, was wary of movies set on the ocean, and it was only the fact that my first DVD player came with a free copy of Deep Blue Sea that made me give shark movies another chance. Huge credit is given to Benchley, the author of the novel, for delivering a narrative that outside of the technical aspects of making the movie, holds its own as a survival story. This package also includes a DVD copy of the film (though missing the documentary The Shark is Still Working) as well as code for either a standard digital copy or Ultraviolet streaming option, none of which I looked at. From the Set is a contemporary making of featurette from 1974, with a decent interview with Steven Spielberg.

Williams's minimalist score benefits from this immensely, exhibiting clean differentiation between the few instruments used in his orchestration. In the Atlantic waters off the coast of Amity Island a 25-foot Great White Shark has staked a claim for his hunting ground. There are still the rich blue's and golden sands you'll remember in the Amity scenes, but they now have a more controlled and natural feel to them. déconseillée donc , à fortiori si vous avez vu dans le passé la version avec le doublage " original " .As one of the most anticipated titles to hit Blu-ray, Spielberg's classic film arrives with a spectacular, reference-quality audio and video presentation that will more than satisfy movie lovers everywhere. The film demonstrates his talent for capturing thrilling action and generating suspense from the most simplistic camera angles and balancing it with poignant, touching drama. All the nasty noise has been brought under control, and all of the hiccups with previous versions of the film have been rectified. This prejudicial attitude was brought about because I happened to watch Jaws 3D first (without the D) on television, and to top it off, I watched Jaws the Revenge, the movie that famously built Michael Caine’s house, without him ever having to watch it. as enamored by the grain resolution as Marty was, and some sequences definitely offer a pretty rough, yellowish grain field.
